Saline tattoo removal is a procedure that uses a saline solution tattooed into the skin that acts like a magnet to draw and lift out tattoo ink or pigment.

Laser Tattoo Removal
Small 5 x 5cm & under – $75
Medium 10 x 10cm & under – $150
Large 15 x 15cm & under – $250
Extra Large 25 x 25cm & under – $350
Q switched laser technology is the most common in the business of tattoo removal.

To remove a tattoo the Q-Switched laser is pulsed over the tattoo, directing its light energy towards the ink. The energy is absorbed by the ink particles which then shatter into tiny fragments and absorb by the body.

In the days following the laser procedure, the body’s immune system will flush away the shattered ink particles and cause the tattoo to fade.
It is important to the process and integrity of the skin that 8-12 full weeks of healing take place before another lightning session can be done.

Lightening and/or removing unwanted pigment/ink is a long process and patience is required. This is true whether you are choosing saline or laser. you will need to be patient and give the process a fair chance to work.
In many cases, only a percentage of the pigment needs to be lightened/removed and then you can continue with a correction or a cover-up.
Results cannot be foreseen, predicted, or guaranteed.

Both are affordable options that can target different tattoo colours.
Generally, laser tattoo removal is the better option but there are some cases that are not suitable for laser and saline is your only option. both methods may require anywhere between 6-12 plus seasons for removal or 2-6 sessions to lightening enough for a cover up tattoo and eyebrow tattoo removals generally only require 2-4 sessions, all sessions are spaced 8-12 weeks apart.

You must not be pregnant and it’s policy to wait until 3 months after you stop breastfeeding before carrying out Tattoo Removal

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL SALINE OR LASER TATTOO LIGHTENING/REMOVAL TAKE?
How many sessions are needed will depend on many different variables:

– How the tattoo was created [professional, amateur, traumatic]
– Age of tattoo
– The pigment/ink to be removed?
– How large the area is?⁣
– What colours are used ie green, bright blue or titanium dioxide
– How many layers & how saturated is the colour?
– How deep was it implanted?
– How saturated is the pigment?
– Where the area is?
– The client’s own skin and healing process?
– The client’s aftercare regimen?
– How much pigment needs to be removed for the desired result?
– Health, lifestyle, skin type as well as the medical condition of the client.

POST TATTOO REMOVAL
The tattoo removal treatment may create a superficial burn wound.
Some clients may experience bruising or swelling.
With laser removal, there is immediate whitening of the treated area, which usually lasts for several minutes and could last for several hours.
Many clients then develop blisters, crusts, or scabs within 12-72 hours, which may last for 1-2 weeks or more.
The treated areas may be pink or pale after the scab separates.
Colour changes in the skin, such as hyperpigmentation (brown/red discoloration) or hypopigmentation (skin lightening) may occur and is usually temporary.
May lighten existing hairs.
Healing is usually fully complete by 8-12 weeks.
